Analysis of the content of pre-university textbooks in terms of the amount of attention to the Qur'an and Qur'anic concepts

Abstract

Textbooks are one of the most important sources and resources for students to learn in educational systems. Due to this importance and due to the role of curriculum in motivating and meeting the needs and also facilitating students' learning, in this article, the content of pre-university textbooks in terms of the amount of attention to the Qur'an and Qur'anic concepts has been studied and analyzed. In order to conduct this research, first, a categorization system was provided according to the literature and background of the subject, which includes Quranic variables and categories and Quranic concepts. In order to conduct the research, coding based on the categorization system has been used and the statistical population of the research, all textbooks of the pre-university course and the content analysis unit have been considered as the title of the course.
According to the findings and data from the content analysis in the present study, it can be concluded that in the humanities textbooks more than textbooks of other disciplines to the Qur'an and Quranic concepts and in other books of pre-university disciplines, especially specialized books Each of these disciplines has received very little or no attention to the Qur'an and Qur'anic concepts
