The Family and its Educational Functionality in the Teachings of Imam Sajjad (AS) With Emphasis on Methods to Removing Deviation and Increasing Virtue

Abstract

With regard to the importance of the family in education, Acceptance of this fact “This holy Institution has not achieved yet to the Real functions and its excellent effect in sublimation and development of human and Islamic society” is undeniable. So we had to search educational methods of the family and its effects in Islamic sources. And in this way Imams (a.s) will guide society In the promotion of family morality, by studing of the remain of them teachings.
In the this article, try to consider Status and functions of the family By studying and thinking In the remain narrations of Imam Sajjad. By thinking in the speeches of The Imam Sajjad, we know that the Family has the more priority than the community and has a big status.  And its effective methods and functions In the moral education of society prove this fact. Also The chief role of Family in modeling of behaviors in the Social Communications Such as serving, sacrifice and forgiveness. Compassion, making visible to education, continual communication with God and etc are expressed As the practical methods In the Removing of deviation, Increasing of Virtue In the school of the Imam.
The method used for this research is combination of descriptive and analytical methods. So that initiallythe teachings of Imam Sajjad and its commentaries studied carefully and for understanding more deeply, verses and traditions related with the issue were used.
