The Holy Quran, as the last and the most perfect divine program in human communication realm, has not ignored capacity of non-verbal significations (i.e. body language and facial expressions). It has frequently portrayed different aspects of non-verbal human communications resulting in completion of its messages and fixing them in the mind. The Holy Quran has also heeded facial expressions and their significations as one sort of non-verbal signification.
This research, by moving from terminology of facial-expression communications toward the Holy Quran, grants a new understanding of Quran verses and also provides a new conception of arranging related verses to reach a suitable framework for facial-expression communications. In other words, this research, by virtue of some Quran verses, tries to scrutinize them, with an interdisciplinary approach, from the aspect of the functions of non-verbal, facial-expression communications
