Abstract

Today, in most societies and cultures, moral norms act as a behavioral guide for humans and shape the structure of social life. These moral norms in the individual and social spheres cover a wide range of human social life. The main goal of this research is to investigate the role of religious teachings, including the verses of the Holy Quran and the hadiths of Ahl al-Bayt, in the development of moral norms in the individual and social spheres. For this purpose, a descriptive-analytical research method has been used. The findings of the research show that from the perspective of religious teachings, ethics are divided into three theoretical, comparative, and practical parts, and in the practical part or normative ethics, we are faced with moral theories that are divided into three categories: consequentialist, duty-oriented, and virtue-oriented. Normative ethics, which forms an important part of the philosophy of ethics, seeks a systematic explanation of the rules and principles governing moral actions, and based on this, the jurisprudence teachings expressed by Ahl al-Bayt play a fundamental role in the development of moral norms in the individual and social spheres. . These teachings actually play a complementary role to the Quranic teachings in order to build a moral world.
