Abstract

As sacred and holiness is a feature of God and the absolute holiness is exclusively God’s merit, therefore the holiness and sacredness of everything is caused by God. Human beings are created with this capacity to attain holiness through communion with God and become a manifestation of Him, and even go beyond the rank of angels.
Not only human beings, but also some actions, things, places, and times are also the representatives of the holiness of God or they are created holy, or may become holy through communion with God, their holiness depending on how strong their relation is to God. Usually, the purpose and focus of holiness in actions, things, places, and times, is the sacred and divine training of human beings.
The accurate and true consideration of holiness is one that looks at all those things as representatives of God’s holiness, leading to our holy and divine training, instead of making us feel independent of or departing from God and become a polytheist.
In this research, we referred to the Quran’s verses that directly or indirectly expressed the issue of holiness. Also, library, descriptive, and analytical approach, and reference to interpretation books were used for concluding.
